Mazda Motor Corporation, also known simply as Mazda, is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer founded in 1920.
Since 2023, Mazda has been the main partner of Ski Sport Finland’s alpine and freestyle national teams, the Finnish Alpine and Freestyle Championships, as well as the FIS Ruka Freestyle World Cup. The partnership extends through the 2025–2026 season, covering the Milano-Cortina Olympic Games.
Mazda’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and motivation align perfectly with the values of the Fearless Finns generation. The Ski Sport Finland national teams are constantly on the move, and the reliability and driving performance of Mazda’s vehicles ensure that the athletes travel safely to their next destination.
Ski Sport Finland uses multiple Mazda CX-80, CX-60 and MX-30 vehicles, all branded to reflect the partnership.
In the first years of the collaboration, Mazda and Fearless Finns have had a strong presence on Mediateko’s digital ad platforms across ski resorts in Finland. Mazda’s logo and brand identity are visible on national team apparel, at Ski Sport Finland’s Finnish Championships, and at the Ruka World Cup.
Through this partnership, Mazda aims to increase brand awareness among winter sports fans and showcase the full lifestyle of top-level alpine skiing—one that includes endurance and individual performance. This world is a natural fit for Mazda. The partnership offers an excellent opportunity to highlight the features of Mazda’s vehicle lineup.
